LOCATING MISSING MANHOLE FOR MAXIS - GOPENG

We have been tasked by Maxis to locate their missing manhole at Gopeng area early this year. Two devices used; Radio Detection and Metal Detector. Finally we found the missing manhole, buried about 1.2 meter underground!

Photo 1 : Insert the flexitrace into the sub-duct

Photo 2 : Ensure the flexitrace inserted into spare duct

Photo 3 : Activate and calibrate the transmitter

Photo 4 : Detect the flexitrace route using the receiver unit

Photo 5 : Dig pilot hole using backhoe (to reduce time)

Photo 6 : Manually excavate to double check other utilities

Photo 7 : Finally found the manhole buried underground

Photo 8 : Found manhole cover buried about 1.2meter underground. Strange??

    Manhole ni terkambus gara-gara local authority tambak tanah....biasanya dulu kawasan ni jalan satu lane ja....sekarang dh jadi 4 lane....huhuh
