This splicing job was done on 8th December 2010 at one of the PPD, Penang. The scope of work was to terminate 4 cores multimode fiber to pigtails at both ends.
1. The OFC 4 core multimode cable and pigtails were prepared into patch panel
2. Strip the fiber pigtails
3. Set the splicing machine into multimode setting
4. Start splicing with pigtails accordingly
5. Arranged the fiber and pigtails properly
6. Ensure all the fibers were properly arranged to avoid macro-bending
7. Rackmount the patch panel into the rack
