DEALING WITH MANHOLE THEFT / VANDALISM

Thanks for comment on our previous posting about manhole vandalism. Actually there are three (3) kinds of prevention step that Telco can take initiative. Our team have implement two of it. And awaiting the next approval from our client before we implement the last step.

Below we highlight the first step that we implement for Maxis manhole:

Photo 1 : Everything is gone. Example of vandalism activity

Photo 2 : Replace with the new manhole cover

Photo 3 : Replacing manhole cover completed

Photo 4 : The manhole neck collar and surrounding was fully concreted

And this first step of prevention method so far achieved its target. No second-time vandalism case
